Recycling
The other evening, Austin was rubbing his eye because there was something in it. A few minutes later we were upstairs and he was climbing into bed. He stopped to rub his eye again and said, "I have recycling in my eye! It keeps happening over and over and over again!"

Go Bucks!!
What a surprise! At the last minute we got tickets for all four of us to go to the Buckeye game today. We were supposed to beat IU pretty easily, but it was closer than expected...but the Bucks pulled it out! I feel a bit bad rooting for OSU when IU was on the field, but when you have about 100,000 Buckeye fans around you peer pressure really takes a toll on you and you have to root for the Bucks! O-H-I-O!
Happy Halloween - a bit late
This kids really scored in the candy department this year. I had planned a "no sugar week" at our house, but looking at the Halloween candy bowl, it may be January before we are ready to go without candy...
Nana and Pop spent the second year with the kids during Trick or Treating. The weather was warmer this year than last year, so that was good. Ellie dressed in Mackenzie's Granville cheerleader outfit and Austin was Darth Vader. Nana dressed up as Miss Talulla which added to the fun.

Cabin Weekend
We enjoyed a beautiful day in Dresden with lots of family, food and fun. This year, we were happy to have Nana and Pop along for the festivities. Thanks to the bitter cold night-time temperatures, this year did not include sleeping in tents. Yea for me! We still had plenty of fun, though.
Steve took us on an awesome hay ride to some cool rock formations. The kids climbed on the rocks, despite the slick green moss all over them. I tried my best to not worry about them slipping and luckily all worked out just fine. Then we hiked up the hill to another rock. Ellie's legs got scratched by prickers. The fact that her legs were a tiny bit scratched along with the fact that she would have to subject herself to some physical exertion, led to me carrying her most of the way. But, it was fun to be in the woods and exploring!
When we got back to the cabin it was time to eat. Once again, the food was fabulous! The Brownings took it a little easier on the food this year, but thanks to the Littles there was plenty of fancy stuff to eat, including a sausage/vegetable soup, macaroni and cheese, potato soup and also cake pops! My Dad (Pop) can't stop raving about the Texas Sheet Cake that Lori made. I have to say, it was delicious. I'm embarrassed to say I had at least 3 pieces of it!
Thanks to everyone for another FUN cabin trip...enjoy the pictures!
